A vaporous and semi-liquid shape that can occasionally be visibly seen in the hand if one has the particular eye. Unable to truly be held, yet constantly felt, the rings silently shift and turn without end.  

When the universe cried out in the great crackling, those who heard the terrible wails were cut into by a deep and profound sadness. Overcome by such a burdening force, those afflicted fled as far as they could but never truly found peace. 

Few descendants of the great crackling view the inescapable motions of the same force they are born with to be anything but a curse, and yet some have come to embrace the invisible wound manifested.  

Those such as the nameless cold prince revealed to his disciples the shape of their most deepened pains as that of untouchable rings which slowly shifted along their hands in perpetuity.

 It is believed that those who can inherit their pains can revere the eternal shape of the rings, thus provide relief to the wounded primordial universe no matter how little.
