Forgotten Star (Patreon)

Time...we have so much more of it  than we give credit for. And we use so little of it to give credit to  ourselves for how far we have come.

How much we have struggled and tried  our best, even if our best some days meant just...taking a deep breath  and taking some of that time for ourselves. 

If you're still here  with me and you're hurting, I want you to know something.

If you've  come to believe there's nothing inside yourself that matters..if you believe the value in you has been lost...that's not true. 

It feels true, but it is the cruelest lie we will ever tell ourselves, and it is the  hardest lie to break.  

 I think we grow too objective some  days..that we grow so purely focused upon the faults in our work and in ourselves that we leave little room to appreciate the blossoming  potential, the beautiful flaws.

We become obsessed with what is wrong,  and what needs to be corrected. We grow so focused on this that it  almost becomes a habit until..it is the only thing we come to see. 

..So take your time..I need you to take some time for yourself. Because we've been drowning, and we don't deserve this. No one deserves this..especially not you. 

We've made it this far, haven't we? So we're strong enough to be here...we're strong enough to get better. It's not impossible.

 We can get better, because there's more right in us than wrong. That's the one truth we need to know now more than ever.
