The End of CBvsLotU (Patreon)

Holy shit. It seems impossible, but here we are at the end of a journey that took over two years. When I started this series, I honestly didn't have any idea where I was going with it or really any grand scheme for it having a proper plot. It just seemed like a fun way of doing a few chapters a month of subject matter you guys enjoy with as wide a variance in options for characters as possible. Eventually, I got bored with the formula and decided to start delving into a more linear overarching plot. And, with the help of Zurker and all of you, I was able to organize and complete what is, by far, the most massive story I have ever done.
I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for all of the support you've given me since I started up this Patreon page. I had no idea what I was doing, figuring a lot of it out as I went along, and I made plenty of mistakes along the way, but you've all been incredibly patient and incredibly forgiving and I appreciate that. A lot of you have supported me even before the Patreon, either via commissions or just reading and enjoying my work. In my non-smutty endeavors, I've become intimately familiar with the struggle of even getting my writing noticed, let alone building a fan base from it, blind to just how much of a following I've developed over the years in my darker exploits. Over the years, I sort of just fell into the routine of grinding away at commissions and Patreon stuff, focusing on it more as just a job. Not that I didn't put just as much passion into the things I wrote, but I did develop a bit of resentment for it because it became the giant stack of things I needed to finish because it was keeping me from working on my own projects.
I can be a dense bastard at times, but the revelation finally hit me that the fans I'd been desperately searching for all this time I've already got. And while I've always appreciated you, I've definitely distanced myself and not really let what your support means truly sink in until recently. So, sincerely, thank you for everything.
That's a long bit of rambling, sentimental nonsense. Apologies for that.
The CB series is over. And I'm happy with how it turned out. I hope you guys are, too. I've got no intention of ever doing anything that massive again, although I wouldn't be surprised if I accidentally did so. The next couple of months are going to be semi-break months. The Paragraphs will continue unchanged, but while plans are drawn up for the next big series, I'll be doing some smaller, one-off concepts I have. They should be a fun return to what could be considered Classic Deathstalker, if such a thing exists. At the moment, whatever the next big thing will be, should be starting in December. I'm excited to figure out what's coming next and to crank out a couple short concepts spawned solely from my own head. It's been a while.
So here's to the sticky future ahead!
