I understand this might come as a surprise and very sudden, and I'd like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Hey, everyone! This is the beginning of the rewrite. How the story begins has been bothering me a lot. The characters I introduced came too quickly and with little bonding from all the melodrama that occurs. For example, I adore Esta but she makes it so that the party can't face any tribulations, thus trivializing Kanae being a succubus.

I'm going to be expanding the beginning of the story and tweaking how most of the characters meet. The cast will remain the same, but how they meet and get to know each other changes a lot.

Most of the story later on stays the same, like meeting the duke, the goblins, fighting the dragon, and going to Lograin. There will be some adjustments and rewrites of their own to match the continuity of the new, rewritten chapters at the beginning.

The reason I'm doing this is due to compounding problems and irksome mental pricks that have been building, and the last thing I want is to start hating what I write later on with those issues in mind.

I also wanted Kanae to be more embracing of and experimenting with his succubus self at the start. And to express his perverted self in other ways at the start. Being too resistant was boring.

What this means is an expanded beginning with more chapters at the start, then ideally rewriting the existing chapters at a faster rate until we get back to the current part of the story.

For chapter 1, mostly the second half has changed. New stuff going forward.

Please bear with me. I will be trying to write 2-3 chapters every release day.

That makes since. I like the idea of Esta coming later. Them being closer to her level when they meet will make it easier to not always have to write her being somewhere else. I also like Kanae accepting their new nature much sooner. It struck me as odd in the original draft that someone with their background and proclivities would suddenly become so prudish.
