WIP #41: Bunny business part 3: Crunchtime (Patreon)

Hello everyone! We're back with the bunny, and now I've got a lot of shiny final and semi-final renders to show! Feburary was quite a rough month, unfortunately, since I had a big house move and some family business taking up most of the time, but now we're truly back on track!

You may have noticed, it's easter. Unfortunately, as march has gone on it's become increasingly clear that not only will this project not be ready in time for easter, but realistically there's still a lot left to do. So, in light of that I've made the decision to delay the public release until easter next year.

Now, this doesn't mean the project is on hold by any means - I will be taking a brief break to catch up on the other poll animations and some commissions, but you can expect more updates on this here soon, and hopefully the final animation will still be done well before the end of the year! Maybe august or september. Really, the main change is I'm lengthening the period where it's a patreon exclusive!

So what's been taking so long? Well, I've been looking forward to showing these off for a while - of course the project isn't just loops, there's also a story, and a bunch of more ambitious action animations, some of which are even done!

So, what's actually going on here? In brief the idea is the girls have a sexy easter picnic, and fluttershy brings angel in his big bunny form, as a gift for them all to share! Of course, he's the kind of gift that pins you down and makes your eyes roll out of your head...

Here's a test render of angel's introduction, the timing and acting isn't final, this was just to work out the behavior of the shadows in this shot. The final vibe I'm shooting for is slower, and a bit more intimidating, perhaps even menacing.

And while we're at it, here's a fun sequence I've been working on with twilight! This is going to be the next up to get the full render treatment. I hope y'all like all the fun I've been having with more advanced cloth ripping animation techniques!

Now of course, as you know there are plenty of loops in the project, and I've made a lot of good progress getting them finished up and rendered! Plenty more to come.
