Progress Update #95 (Patreon)

It was really fun to work on this! I love these characters and when you only have to animate a single basic action, you don't have to worry about any complicated movements and rigs, you can just focus on the shading and making sure everything looks good! I was able to make most Pokémon fairly quickly, but I did have some trouble at the end with Haachama, which was a bit surprising because I animated her before in that Duolingo video. I even reused some of those assets to save time and it still took 3 days to finish her. There's so many details! 😵‍💫

In the last update I talked about finishing that Kiara animation next, but I have since changed my mind. I have bigger projects that have been stuck in pre-production for a long time, and December/January are a good time to work on those. So I'll keep the Kiara animation on hold for a bit longer. I also might do a little something for christmas, I'll update you guys next month!
