So, last month, I started watching this thing called hololive. It's this group of Japanese """""Idol""""" Vtubers, and they are very entertaining! There's like over 30 members and they stream every day, sometimes for over 10 hours… it's an insane amount of content. I love it!

I really like all of the members, but there's one that I absolutely love, and that is Inugami Korone. The avatar, the voice, the personality... just perfect, 10/10, she's the best!

So I thought: "Hey, why don't I make some Korone fanart?"

"Her Banjo stream was pretty funny, how about a quick animation?"

And then, things got a little bit out of hand...

The Eekum Bokum animation became really popular and then it became a meme. And there's a lot of really funny edits, and awesome fan animations! But there's also some low effort crappy ones, and some YouTube channels that just pump out a lot of them every day... That kinda sucks, but I guess that's bound to happen with every meme, right?

Memes aside, I think that the coolest thing that happened was that Grant Kirkhope watched and retweeted the animation! I played so much Banjo-Kazooie growing up it's surreal to have the composer of the game noticing my work. That made me really happy!

So after all that, I felt obligated to make another Korone animation. It's been a rush this past week to finish it, and I haven't gotten a chance to organize the assets yet, so I'll upload the rewards next week.
