Progress Update #61 (Patreon)

But yeah, here it is! The animatic is complete, and now I can finally start animating! But there are so many cool scenes that I'm not even sure where to start!

I am gonna be trying some new animation techniques with this project. So, I'm planning to record a lot of WIP videos to show the animation process. I'm hoping to have a new WIP video for every new progress update I make here! We'll see how it goes.

So, let me talk about the ending real quick. As you can see, there's no big fight. Applejack just turns everybody into applesauce! And you can hear it in the lyrics of the song: "Feel the wrath of Mission code-name: Applesauce applesauce applesauce"

And you think: "Oh, that's cute! Just a little joke at the end there."

BUT NO! There's more!

Rescue at Midnight Castle, the MLP G1 pilot. What are the first words you hear out of applejacks mouth?

"Applesauce, anyone?"

BOOM! That's how it starts! That's how it ends!
