I don't know if I'm under some kind of curse or something, but it seems like every time I'm finishing a TBSP episode some bullshit happens with my computer. This time Windows froze out of nowhere and I had to force a shut down. I turn the PC back on and BAM! Corrupted hard drive. Windows was able to repair it, but some really important files got busted. Thank god, I had made a backup recently, and I was able to recover most of it. This could have been disastrous!

Windows still freezes sometimes, and I'm starting to think this might be a problem with my motherboard. I'll leave my PC alone for now and keep working on my laptop just to be safe.

But that is today's lesson everybody, back your shit up!

So, that last scene is pretty much finished. There's just one little sequence at the end that I'm not super happy with, so I might go back and change it, but now I'm mostly just taking care of the post-production stuff, polishing things up and adding all the sound effects, it should be all done by next week. But E3 is also coming, and there's going to be a lot of gaming news and press conferences, and I really don't want to compete with that! The youtube algorithm can be brutal, so I think I'm going to wait a little bit to release the episode.

I'm also doing some painting! Same style as the official Red Dead 2 art. I was only going to do Celestia for the thumbnail, but it turned out so well that I'm thinking about making a proper artwork for the episode with all the other characters as well.

And yeah, that's it for now. Short update, but a lot of cool stuff is coming soon, including the Patreon Rewards, I got a lot of assets from this animation to share with you guys!

How old is the drive? It sounds like the hard drive on your PC could be failing. If the drive is several years old and has been running continuously then that could be the main culprit. If so I recommend pulling what you can off it asap. I know, on my server, I go through a hard drive every 2 or 3 years (running 24/7).

Daaang, glad to hear you didn't lose too much. And cool painting, I'd definitely be interested in seeing more of your stuff. :)

Time for an all new computer bro. Also, the art is pretty wicked.

The drive is like a year old. Last year I had problems with the RAM and I had an SSD fail too. That's why I'm suspecting the motherboard might be the problem. Or maybe it was just bad luck with the other PC components, I dunno :p

Damn! :^o You reminded me of backing up my files. I'll do it ASAP too, just in case.
