Shadow the Hedgehog! It was a lot of work, a lot of people loved it, and I'm very happy with the response to the episode! But, I gotta be honest, it was a nightmare to make this one, especially during the past 3 months. A lot of stuff went wrong, I had to stop everything else in my life to just focus on the animation, and the entire time I was feeling a lot of pressure andanxiety. It was a pretty bad experience.

So I'm done with the longer videos (at least for now). I want the new episodes to be short and simple, and when I say "simple" I'm not talking about the quality of the animation, I'm talking about the overall complexity of the episode, like the number of assets required for each scene. My goal is to maintainthe quality of the series and achieve a quicker turnaround between the episodes. I think I might have said something similar last year, but goddammit, I mean it this time!

And due to this change in format for the series, I'm also making some changes to the Rewards.

I've been doing the monthly asset packs for a year now, and putting these packs together might not seem like a lot of work, but let me assure you it's not as easy as you'd think. Because most of my assets were made for personal use, and sometimes that means a lot of incomplete and buggy assets. So there's a lot of stuff that I have to fix every time I release an asset pack or a character rig here in the Patreon, and doing this every month becomes a very time-consuming process. So from now on, I'm going to be posting the Rewards after the next episode is completed. It gives me more time to work on TBSP and it gives me more time to work on the game...

Speaking of which, my plan was to finally start working on the game this month, but I had a really good idea for a TBSP Halloween episode. It's a little bit crazy, I'm not even sure if it's possible yet, but if I manage to do it, it's going to be awesome! And to make sure everything goes smoothly (and I'm not miserable at the end of it), I need to start working on it right now. So the game will have to wait... Again!

2snacks: "I need to make less complex episodes" also 2Snacks: "SO I'm planning to do stuff for the next episode that I'm not even sure is possible yet!"

Mad respect to you for doing all of this by yourself.

I think the Pokemon episode should be your golden standard. It didn't look overly complex but it's still extremely good. To this day it's my favorite one.

lol Didnt Plague mentioned something about burning yourself out with these complex videos? Anyways, simple is always good too. :D
