3D Ref vs Final Product (18+) (Patreon)

Hey, want in on a lil trade secret? I've been using Design Doll to build references for many of my pieces since earlier this year. Ever since I've started using design doll I've been able to experiment much more freely with complex compositions and angles.

Now I think I should also mention that design doll doesnt replace the need to understand anatomy since the 3D models themselves are quite inaccurate and misleading, however they do help get down basic lighting and structure to fill in the blanks and maintain consistency without having to worry about finding the "perfect" reference online.

I love 3D and I think people should open up to it more! There's no shame in using references of any kind and not limiting yourself to your pure imagination doesn't invalidate your work.
