why the slower posting? (Patreon)

some of you may have noticed that I've been posting BOE pages slower than my normal schedule.  But even those working with me are sometimes surprised when they find out what life has thrown my way lately to cause this.  And as you guys have been supporting me through this I thought it only fair to let you guys know what's been going on... here goes...

firstly, my Granny died, and I wasn't fit to do anything for about a month.  Certainly not drawing cute adorableness.  So that ate up what little reserve I had.

Secondly the tax man took my time and money.  I had to file my taxes and ho boy was every step made unnecessarily hard.  It took me 3 months to file my first one online, then I had to deal with the fact the government insisted I needed to file a tax return for a year I owed no tax on, and didn't make this clear until I phoned them up.  So because of there misleading online information, they then charged me £1200 for filing late on earnings of only £800.  Dealing with this and all the ensuing painfully slow response times, and constant demands for increasingly large sums of money, not only emptied my bank account, but also increased my anxiety and feelings of depression.  Legal it may be, but I still think charging someone fees by the day, while response from the government takes months is immoral.

So, now with no money and about 3 months of spare time down the drain... my phone broke...

and my car...

and my friend has  Multiple Sclerosis.

All this has destroyed my "unexpected expenses" budget 4 times over, so I won't be able to say no to x-mas overtime this year.  so starting some time this month my spare time will dissapear and my stress levels will go through the roof.  (such are the joys of retail)

So, with all that, in only a few months.  I hope you understand exactly why uploads have been slowed down.

Thanks for your understanding and support.  I don't think I'd have made it through the year without it.
