Does this work with the current version of FS2020? If I move the "nrsmbhhh.fsarchive" file out of its location, the longitude disappears from the aircraft menu.

FTSIM

Run (double click) the "build.py" script after Moving the new "SimObjects" folder inside ""\\asobo-aircraft-longitude"

FTSim would you use this https://github.com/HughesMDflyer4/MSFSLayoutGenerator instead of build.py method? Thanks.

FTSIM

Thanks , the good thing it do not Require any installed Software but it do not create a new "layout.json" file like the "Python" version dose .

Anonymous

just create a blank layout.json file then drag it to MSFSLayoutGenerator.exe and it will generate a new layout file.

FTSIM

👌 , didn't think of that , will try this script next update

Any plans on making an easy install for this just like with the 747 and 787?

FTSIM

yes , but it will take a while to be ready . i hope it will be out this month

FTSIM

This set still Not Updated yet , the new file to relocate is named "pnirfdlv.fsarchive"

Good to be back! Will this work with the longitude mod by dakfly0219?

Anonymous

Looks like I am not getting the sounds to work after Sim Update 5

FTSIM

Will Update my MSFS , i Hope it is not a strange new thing 😖

after install, none of my liveries work now? my plane is just purple?

Anonymous

DISREGARD! I'm an idiot and didn't install properly the first time! Thank you!! Hello! After installing I don't seem to have any switch/button noises. I am using the Darkfly mod btw!

FTSIM

Just installed the Darkfly mod and the switch/button are working fine Did you try it without the Mod ? or maybe they working but not too loud ?

Anonymous

Sounds are fantastic. However I lost altitude countdown and minimum calls on approach in the cockpit. You can still hear them from the outside view. Is there anyway we can get those back?

So much better than the original one. In the future, if you could add custom flaps and APU sounds, it would make this sound mod perfect... Just an idea. Thanks !

Why do the engine noises quickly get covered up by wind noise after 5 knots ground speed?

FTSIM

5 knots !! , Engine spool sounds was designed to be reduced a bit after passing 450 knots

Noticing the sim is hanging with this addon after I attempt to go back to the main screen.

FTSIM

it Might be something new changed after latest MSFS update , Will check it out as the other sets

Anonymous

hello it is also for x flight citation longitude x plane ?

Anonymous

Is this compatible with SU7? Thanks!

Anonymous

Hi, I have the latest version of the sim and the update to v1.1 w/fix 2 above. Works great and of what a difference to the ac. When I try and shut down the sim with this mod in my community folder it hangs and unable to close flight simulator correctly. This is the only mod in my community folder; so when the mod is out of the community folder; FS shuts down just fine. Can you look into this for me. Otherwise, great work! Simon

Also, there are no instructions for fix 2; do we overwrite the existing sound.xml in the installed v1.1 in the comm folder; or have both packages (v1.1) and( fix 2) installed in the community folder?

FTSIM

Fix.2 ? : 1- extract the "Longitude_Fix2.zip" 2- move the "C-Longitude_Sp" inside the "Community" folder 3- overwrite the files and reload the Aircraft

Anonymous

ok..I will re-try it this way and see if it helps with the hanging on sim or scenario exit with the sounds? There is only one file different within the fix2 zip; I can't just put/replace the old file with the new one in fix2.zip, into the existing c-longitude_sp folder in the comm folder? I can't remember the name of the one (only) file in the fix 2 update

Anonymous

Yes, Re-installed as above and still getting the hang on exit after flight; otherwise the sounds are great!

It works fine; I sorted the problem. Amazing job!!!! Different plane altogether with these!
