# Notes :


How To Manually edit the Layout.json file if the tools did not work !! :

1/ Re-install the FBW A320 or revert to its default state ( Restore Default Layout file )

2/ Open the aircraft folder "flybywire-aircraft-a320-neo" then open the "layout.json" file  with a ".txt" editor ( like NotePad++ )

3/ Find this line "FlyByWire_A320_NEO/sound" then Delete those Parameters :

I installed but now I have no engine sounds - these have worked before - not sure whats wrong

- Did you copied the correct "sound.xml" file from the "S-Pack" to the "sound" folder If you are using A32NX Mod ! you will get after install : > 3 ".PCK" files > sound.xml > others ".wav" files - You need to Run "build.py" after install

Hello. I have downloaded and installed the A320X for MSFS package and I get no sounds. Any ideas what may be going on??

No sounds ? 1/ - Make sure the sounds are installed correctly a) The new ".PCK" and "sound.xml" are moved inside the "sound" folder b) The "Build.py" is placed in the correct location metioned on the "How to use.txt" file c) The "Build.py" file is "Executed" correctly and the "layout.json" file is updated(*) (*) You Can have a better idea How the "Build.py" works by watching this old Video Demo ; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioZiXraqji0 >> The "build.py" file require "Python 3.8" to be installed , You can download it from : https://www.python.org/downloads/ 2/ Make sure you are using the Original sounds on both Default A320 and A32NX Mod before install

OK got them to work. They are fantastic. Missing the reverse thrust roar but otherwise, perfect. Have you considered doing sounds for the 787??

The "build.py" is inside the "A320Neo-Sp(LEAP)(MSFS)" folder a) if you are using the Default A320 ! , > you need to move it inside : \asobo-aircraft-a320-neo folder b) if you are using the A32NX ! , > you need to move it inside : \A32NX folder ( the same file is already there on v0.41) > Or you can use directly the "Pre-updated" A32NX copy here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1m_lz9My_zXSGIMAWw4IeZHbHi5d6OVgd/view?usp=sharing

The engines dont work for me - there's an idle sound externally, but silent in cockpit, and they don't run up during takeoff - strange

Only Engines ? on A32NX or Default Asobo ? , did you tried using the latest configuration for A32NX v0.61 (install the "S-Pack" v1.2 first )

Is it me or is the APU sound just starting up after the APU is avail ? On A32NX 0.61 with everything run. All other sounds seem fine.

Love this Add-on sounds great! I do have a request... Rain effects seem to be much louder than some of your other sound packs. Is there a way via one of the txt files or in game sliders that I could reduce volume of rain fx?

Followed the instructions but no sounds at all . On 0.6.1 Stable FBW.Spent nearly and hour trying to get it to work and give up. The rest of soundpacks I installed work just fine. This one doesn't.

Have the engine sounds, but lost all the cockpit sounds?

@FTSim+ I am running on the latest DEV Version (1c5335e) and I have some issues with my sounds. I made every step correct from the video but in the Sim I can only hear the running engine sound and fans. No Button, No Startup, No electrical sounds. I have all sliders to 100% in menu. Maybe you need to update? Current stable is 0.6.3

I tryed this sounds on stable 0.6.3, but I had no cockpit sounds except some engines sounds. And with PW soundpack I didn't have either of these sounds (cockpit + engines).

Same problem as Lev Game's Channel. Engine sound works but no cockpit sounds like seatbelt sign on or clicking buttons.

1/ Make sure that "A320_Sp(LEAP)" is inside the "Community" folder 2/ Make sure that Both files "FBW_A320_NEO_1.PC.PCK" & "FBW_A320_NEO_2.PC.PCK" are Copied inside : ...\\Community\A320_Sp(LEAP)\SimObjects\AirPlanes\FlyByWire_A320_NEO\sound\ 3/ check if the flybywire "layout" file is updated correctly How ? : A) Open the "layout.json" file with ".txt" editor ( \\Community\flybywire-aircraft-a320-neo\ ) B) Look for the new name of the "sound" folder ( Exp : "sound.1" ) C) if you find it !! then the "layout" file is updated correctly , if Not ! then try updating again with "build.py" script or "MSFSLayoutGenerator"
