Pantone Colors of the Year (2023 version) + art musings (Patreon)

My Pantone Collection has officially been updated to include Viva Magenta!

I know I said in my previous Pantone post that this would be the last year I'm doing this, but truth be told I do like next year's color (Peach Fuzz) enough that I might be able to come up with a design. I'm thinking honestly this would be a good excuse to design Lady Peach for the Sugarplum project and kill two birds with one stone 😝
So I'm not promising to resume this series, but it's not a definite no for next year. Really depends on how I'm feeling.

It's kind of wild to think that I've drawn this series for 10 years now. I put together a compilation of closeups to see how my art has changed over the decade!

I do think I have improved in these 10 years, but I don't think I'm where I want to be artistically :/ This year I finally gave up the half-face style I've been trying to make happen, and I'm going back to trying not to force an art style, but one frustration I have is that I feel like my "fashion illustrations" are too cartoony. So I might be trying some more art explorations soon!
