The Vampire Gown finally has a counterpart! My friends and I are doing a casual Met Gala collab, so casual that they didn't feel like doing this year's theme (Karl Lagerfeld was not a very nice person) and we collectively decided to play along with one of the best Met Gala themes from previous years: Heavenly Bodies.

What I really wanted to do was draw looks for multiple past Met Gala themes, including redrawing my McDonald's camp look, but a couple of really exciting commissions came in so I'm gonna prioritize those. But maybe next year!

I have been wanting to design a "holy" version of the Vampire Gown since its conception, and of course me being extra af I made multiple versions. So I have this version that pairs with the Vampire Gown better, in cathedral white:

But the version that I think is more fitting for Heavenly Bodies is a fully colored stained glass gown.

I wanted a papal hat and staff for the holy look, but I opted for stars instead of crosses because 1) I love eight-pointed stars and 2) I like that both the Stained Glass and Vampire gowns have motifs that are reminiscent of the religious cross but aren't exactly that.

I also made a fancier backdrop for IG, because I think they like this sort of thing:

Curious to know which backdrop you like better!
