Help me pick what to draw next for the Sailor Moon artbook! I'm incredibly indecisive and trying to choose between these options has been a struggle.

Option 1: Redraw

The fastest option would probably be redrawing this:

This was my rendition of an official Sailor Moon illustration below. Although I want my artbook to have a fashion focus, I've really wanted to redraw many of the official illustrations in my style and have those in the artbook too. I need an excuse to draw the sailor suits 😂

So yes, it's a redraw of a redraw. But I'd really like to update this to match my new art style. The nice thing is that I don't have to redraw all the lineart, mostly just the faces, so theoretically it wouldn't take me too long to finish! Here's a mockup of what I had in mind (not in full color):

Option 2: Sparkly Redraw

The second option is another official redraw, but I want to make it sparkly

This is the official illustration, which was just released a few weeks ago. So if I really want to "game the algorithm" or whatever, I guess redrawing this recent fanart would be really good for that. If you zoom in, you'll see there are jewels and pearls in the details. I'd like to render all of this as rly glittery costumes - it's been a while since I've done some glitzy glitter stuff and I have a hankering for it...

Here's a mockup of how I envision the final composition. My only concern is that this will look amazing online, but to actually get this as a sparkly print would be a lot tougher...

Option 3: Stained Glass

This would be an original composition for once! A few people have said my style reminds them of stained glass, so I feel like I should commit to it. I really like the idea of panels like this:

The main thing holding me back is that stained glass-inspired Sailor Moon art already exists, both official and fanart, so if I were to sell this as prints I might have competition. BUT I also think my style does really lend itself to stained glass art, so it'd be a shame for me not to try it??

If this works out, I'd love to expand this into a series and draw other fandoms in this stained glass style too.

Option 4: Starlight Fashion

The only fashion illustration of the bunch, but I wanted to draw some strappy dresses inspired by the Sailor Starlights.

The dresses themselves are inspired by Bordelle's strappy dresses. It's a pretty simple illustration so theoretically it wouldn't take as long as Options 2 and 3, but figuring out the pose anatomy and stuff is still gonna take more time than Option 1.

I'd say I plan to work on all four of these at some point (as well as the previous collections I've designed!) - it's just a matter of picking which one to do first. Pls help 😭

TL;DR SUMMARY:

Option 1: Redraw of a redraw, fastest to draw
Option 2: Sparkly redraw, relevant for social media
Option 3: Stained glass original, fits my style really well
Option 4: Fashion illustration, most relevant for artbook
