Sea Fairy Cookie fan costume (Patreon)

Throwback to my Sea Fairy Cookie costume for the Cookie Run costume contest in 2019! Wanted to redraw her and the costume itself. I included the old posts in the slideshow for reference!

Why did I give the gijinka boots instead of the seashell dress? I just liked both the boots and the dress and wanted to show both designs 😅⁠

I usually care very much about making designs that can exist IRL but tbh I have no idea how this design works and how she'll move with the giant seashell in the back. I think the seashell wouldn't appear until Sea Fairy Cookie's power was activated, so we'll chalk it up to magic.

I know it's been two years but I'm still really sad this entry didn't even make it into the finals. I definitely understand why -- I took a risk in designing something that looked so ambitious and different from Sea Fairy Cookie. But Cookie Run was one of my favorite games, especially because of their character and costume designs, so to have my design skills recognized by them would have been a dream come true. It wasn't meant to be, I suppose...⁠

But at least now I get to keep full ownership of this design to myself. Actually, I was going to use this design for my game when it was still fashion-themed. I think originally there was a Glam wearing this costume who would be called Glam Nereida, but eventually I decided to give this design to one of the main characters.
