Go_A (Patreon)

Fashion inspired by Ukraine's Eurovision entry...I said I was done with drawing real people, but I just got an influx of Eurovision followers this week and I mainly drew this as a thank you for following me 😅 I'm sorry for flip flopping! 

I won't lie that I'm really tempted to draw more Eurovision fashion because Eurovision 2021 has been on my mind non-stop since it ended, there's an infamous "post Eurovision depression" and I guess it's real 😩 There are so many more ideas I wanted to draw, because there were a lot of really inspiring entries.

That said, I do think there is validity to me deprioritizing drawing real people because of the reasons I stated. But if inspiration hits in the future, I'll hold polls in my IG stories and see what series my followers want me to work on. That way I'm drawing for my followers rather than the celebrities, like this fanart, and if celebrities happen to see it that's just a kickass bonus.

Design Notes

The left design is a very simplified recolor of a look the lead singer wore for last year's song so I cannot take credit for it, I really just wanted to draw it in my style. I couldn't get all the folds perfectly, but I hope the main silhouette comes across 😛 

The right design is inspired by their Eurovision performance this year! I made it a little bit more glam with the longer fur sleeves and the cutout. The circular halos are inspired by the rings the backup dancers had as props.
