Some unfinished fanart of Montaigne (Australia's contestant for Eurovision 2021). I was hoping simple fanart could be done faster than designing fashion, but alas figuring out how to draw tulle took longer than I thought 😩

Also sharing the two Eurovision fashion pieces I posted a while back so you can see them in full resolution!

I also stopped this fanart because I realized that I should stop drawing fanart of real people for a while. I found myself feeling shitty if the person didn't acknowledge my fanart, which is really irrational of me, I know. So I'm taking a break from series like Eurovision and Drag Names where I draw real people, and focusing on series about fictional characters because:

The good news is that a fictional focus will allow me to design some new series that I've wanted to design for a long time - Sailor Moon for sure, maybe Cardcaptors or Pretty Cure, and I could even continue the Pokemon fashion series!

There's definitely exceptions to the rule though: A commission from the actual person is fine, or if I hold a Patreon poll in the future and you guys vote for me to draw a real person (i.e. continuing the Drag Names series etc) that would be fine too.

But I'm hoping that focusing on fictional series for a while, and taking that break from drawing real people, that might help mend my relationship with my art a bit.
