Hello! It's been two weeks since I decided to dedicate this month to working on game stuff. Now that we're halfway through, here's a snippet of my progress so far.

I was very much inspired by a mobile game called Merge Dragons. I love their mechanic of merging pieces to "evolve" them and theoretically make them grow more grand and beautiful the more you merge. But I really loathe the game, the art is ugly and it is very transparently pay-to-win. That said, I can't stop playing it bc merging is so fun haha, so I wanted to take that fun mechanic and try to make a more fun game around it.

The bg and buttons here were from a tutorial so I could get the coding down first, but here's a rough idea of what the game might possibly look like:

So it's like a dress-up game, except you have to complete the puzzle to dress her up. Something like that lol.

I still have a long way to go, but I'm really happy with the progress I was able to make. Overall, I've been feeling so much happier not having to worry about drawing and getting to focus on this. I'm going to be really sad when this month is over, haha.
