Look at her, desperately trying to pull herself up off the ground.  Every inch upwards seemingly more arduous than the last.  She makes it onto a single foot before her body betrays her.  That fleeing sense of accomplishment, euphoric as it was, crests back towards despair as her new nature asserts itself again, driving her back down.
