Packing up and Moving (Patreon)

So it has been a while since I posted anything. My mother's health is still stable and she's doing well post brain surgery! There are only minor memory issues and some partial vision impairment in her left eye. She has a hard time blazing through mystery novels like she used to and driving is a worry for her. In that regard she's had some life changes and things are well. Radiotherapy has been happening regularly and scans to make sure that all of the cancer is gone and hasn't been hiding anywhere else. Doctors say she is right as rain.

I've also been getting a handle on my mental state and bouts of depression. So work has been getting progressively easier and easier to do. Not as fast as I'd like, but gradual recovery is better than none at all. I am grateful for the lengthening of daylight hours.

Another hurdle approaches in my near to immediate future. My room mate (and also the person that owns the house I am renting from) is selling the building. To that end he is preparing it for sale as rapidly as time will allow and the market in my area is booming. So not only do I need to find a place to live suddenly, but I have to pack up all of my belongings before I even have prospective locations to move to as there will more than likely not be a place to have my things (and myself) before I find a place to move to.
So, uh, that is a thing that's on my plate. Just when I was starting to rebuild my savings too. Don't worry bank account, I promise to feed you soon!
