Question: Girls of Fairy Tail Remake? (Patreon)

What do you think about remaking this old Fairy Tail piece from 2015? Of course, it's not so easy just to remake it, so there would be some stipulations.

First off, I would change some of their poses and expressions to have a better more dynamic image. Secondly and most importantly it would take a very long while to make, we are talking about a month. So if I were to do it, it would be the only thing I post for that month. Thirdly I have plans to make the second half of next month and a bit after focused on Bleach girls for the animes return.

Let me know what you think below, if a lot of you feel like it's a good idea, maybe I will try to fit it in for August or September.

I may run a poll for a clearer result in a bit.

Well so long as you draw Juvia solo as well at some point..! In all seriousness, I appreciate you giving us the chance to vote on this, and I would absolutely love a remake of this, but I feel this is a decision that only you can really make. I know you don't rely on Patreon for your main source of income, but you have to try and factor in the timing and potential reach of this as well as what you might do as an alternative for that month. People who aren't into Fairy Tail might not be as enthused to stick around for that month, for instance. Alternatively, if you're attracting that audience (which with your recent work you are) it makes sense to work on this. But if you're concerned about growing your audience more generally having a dormant month isn't ideal for that. But it might not matter to you, or you can stagger out releases more to fill that gap. I would say it comes down to what makes the most sense for you as an artist and what you're aiming for in the next few months. Both in terms of the content you want to produce and where you see yourself wanting to go in the next few months. It doesn't really answer the question but I just wanted to share my thoughts and say you do what is best for you!

First off, thank you for the thoughtful reply, I appreciate it! Yeah, totally. This is something that I feel would be fun to do, but it's also something that would be very disruptive to my normal posting on Patreon. So having your feedback is important. And you raise some good points. Yes, I cannot support myself with what I am making on Patreon, so I either need to work on growth or just have it as a fun little side project, and I would like for it to be my main job. So what you're saying about fatigue is on my mind and a reason I wanted to know if it was something you all are cool with. It is a lot of FT content, and with one more Erza to come plus I still have plans to do Juvia as well (probably only one part for now) I can see it being a bit of a turn-off for those that are not into FT, so I do want to avoid that as I am not an FT main artists. One way I am doing it, is right now I am working on a special OC drawing for a friend. I then plan to finish Erza with part three and move on to a first-time Chi Chi drawing for hitting 10k on Twitter. After those I was thinking of drawing Juvia and then a number of Bleach girls, I will probably have a few polls for them during that time frame. I will say this. Having thought about the FT Girls Remake, I feel like slowly working on it over a long period of time would probably be best. It would be a lot less stressful and I can still do my normal posts, it would just take a lot longer to finish, maybe as much or more than three months.
