Where are we at? Would be nice to see the year out with a video... hmmm...

Let's check what the project plans were from the last Patreon post

Short Project (0-1 Extract&Ire vids):
Alkali metals and chlorinated solvents.

Medium Project (1-3 Extract&Ire vids):
Napalm 1 vs Napalm 2.

Long Project (3+ Extract&Ire vids):  
bis-(5-nitro-2H-tetrazolato-N2)tetraammine cobalt(III) perchlorate (BNCP)

The short project has been... tiresome. I'm yet to get any impressive explosions, but I think I've been going about it the wrong way. All it'll take is one lucky/productive day, and that video will be broken wide open.

Napalm has stalled for now, need to spend time on engineering things for it honestly

The BNCP project has been a joy so far, and the response to the Extract&Ire video on the cobalt chem was great, so that's fantastic. still a bit of work to do for it but there should be no major issues moving forward I think!

Now, a real update.

A got a message from ChemicalForce, another chem Youtuber, who wanted to collab. Now, this was an interesting thought because ChemicalForce has access to a seemingly unlimited stock of highly obscure chemicals. If you've never checked out his channel, I recommend it!

Anyway, this gave the opportunity to feature some chemistry on my channel that I otherwise would not be able to do (well, not easily or cheaply anyway). After agreeing on an idea, he said he'd go off and film some clips for me.

I forgot that most people don't work at my slow pace lol, and he had some high quality, fantastic clips to me within a week!

So the final video will be in the usual format I believe, (myself narrating) featuring some experiments done by me, and some experiments done on the other side of the world. I hope I can pull it off!! The topic:: Pyrophoric gases
(Feel free to speculate what the experiments might be!)

Hopefully it'll be out within a month, I have some time off uni around Christmas, but it'll mostly likely be the next video out anyway.
