The "Blackout" Murder Mystery Expansion Pack Beta 1.1.2 is out now! (Patreon)

We’ve got Blackout polished up and ready to re-explore! Prepare yourself, because the party will take a dark turn in part two of the Murder Mystery Expansion story. Missed what the beta is about and need a quick recap? No problem, dood. We got you covered.

After you complete the "Look What The Cat Dragged In" alpha and let the unexpected new party guest in, you’ll have an opportunity to get to know her better. She’s a bit quirky, but she’s friendly and looking to enjoy herself despite Madison nixing her planned murder mystery extravaganza.

Play your cards right, and she’ll give you a special key to unlock that trunk full of goodies she brought inside earlier. Even if you can’t make a good first impression, all isn’t lost. There are ways for creative partygoers to get into the trunk… although, there may be consequences for going behind her back.

Either way, once the trunk is opened the party takes a rather strange turn! Things might look a little different than you’re used to, and you may find yourself equipped with a weirdly phallic new item…that glows! But keep your cool, brahs. After all, there has to be at least one adult in charge of getting to the bottom of the sudden weirdness.

While you’re investigating, pay attention to any comments your fellow partiers make, and consult with Ashley or Madison if you’re finding it difficult to figure out what to do next. Though, shouldn’t the two hosts be the ones fixing things around here?

Don’t want to replay the "Look What The Cat Dragged In" story to get to the new “Blackout” content? No problem.

Cheers to our awesome programmers - they put in a special radial menu just for you! This makes it so Patrons can effortlessly skip straight from the beginning of the Murder Mystery story to the start of Blackout!

To skip from the beginning to Blackout, Press E to open your Player Radial Menu. It’s not deja vu you’re feeling, as this is the same menu you use for removing your pants or exposing yourself (so, if you’re a debaucherous partier, you’re probably well acquainted with it).

Once the menu is open, you should see a new option that says “Dev Radial" (shown in the picture above). Click on it, hit “Skip To Blackout,” and you’ll be well on your way to some rad new content, dood! It’s way easier than getting into Frank’s contraband cabinet, and there’s no need to worry about having to replay “Look What the Cat Dragged In”.

Speaking of which, If you haven’t played the "Look What The Cat Dragged In" Beta yet, or you want to experience it a second time, you can also start from the beginning, and the story will progress naturally from the start to the beginning of Blackout!

Whether you skip through to the new content, or enjoy the playthrough from the beginning, we hope you love everything that the more polished beta version of Blackout has to offer!

P.S. In order to develop this DLC within our release time frame while still bringing you test builds for feedback, this beta (and other Murder Mystery betas) will release on an earlier schedule than our normal betas. 

This will result in the betas receiving bug fixes and polish between the alpha and beta states as usual, but might also result in the early betas overall being slightly less fine-tuned than you may be used to. We will continue to add more polish prior to release, and we're hyped for your feedback! Thanks for testing, doods!
