Introducing: The Temple of Ripened Fruit (Patreon)

The Temple of Ripened Fruit is a place of growth, change, and the sensuality that both of those things can bring.  Here, those seeking enlightenment and intimacy are welcome to visit whenever they'd like and spend time on their own, with others, or in the arms of one of three "Priests" who live at the Temple and tend to the needs of both the building and its visitors.

We are currently playing with the idea of having the Temple itself consist of a few different rooms:  One larger main hall (depicted above), with a few, smaller satellite rooms which serve as living space for the Priests (as well as more intimate settings for any visitors who seek a more private audience with any of the three).

The main hall is a rotunda lined with hanging tapestries and lit naturally by a large sun roof from which all the light can spill directly into the building's central pool and the enormous pillow pit in the center.

After we've fleshed out how we want the Temple to look, we'll do the same thing we did with Danny's Diner, and create a 3d blockout map that we can position for consistent background elements with every page of each comic.  This concept sketch is just the beginning.

Who are the Priests of the Temple?  Well, let's just say we're going to keep you guessing for a little while longer as we work on creating the Temple, itself.  If you've been keeping an eye on our commission work, though, then let's just say that you've met at least two of them before.
