UPDATE/BREAKOUT SNEAK PEEK (Patreon)

Hey guys! Quick update.  About 90% of Breakout episode 5 is done. Unfortunately, I’m still waiting for ONE voice actor to send in his lines. I would’ve likely had the episode complete by today if I wasn’t still waiting🥴 I don’t ever put voice actors on blast but this is the same voice actor that held up last episode and im just a little frustrated lol.

After days of email tag, they finally agreed to send the lines on the 23rd. I didn't get any lines on the 23rd nor did I get an email stating that they were just running late. I emailed them on the 25th asking for an update and got no response. On the 27th, I finally decided that it would just be best for me to recast the role and that’s when I got an email from them saying they would have the lines to me by the weekend. I decided to go ahead and wait. I was conflicted about this decision because as stated above, this has happened more than once now and I’ve grown tired of the unprofessionalism. But unfortunately, the character they voice is a pretty important character with a distinct voice and I know everyone has gotten used to hearing that voice for that particular character. I also thought about just removing their scene from the episode but I’m not going to modify my story or work just because someone’s unprofessionalism inconvenienced me. That would also be unfair to their scene partner who did an amazing job and sent in their lines on time.

My two main stars have the biggest work load of any character and not only do they send their lines days in advance, but they always respond to me within the hour lol. They even send revisions the same day sometimes. I cannot tell y’all how grateful I am for them and all of the other voice actors that work on Breakout and show me so much professionalism and courteousness. There’s so much that goes into making this show so having voice actors that make my job a lot easier is priceless to me.

On the bright side, if they somehow don’t follow through again, I’ve already narrowed down two voice actors that would be good for the role to replace them. If this person DOES send in the lines this weekend, I’ll hopefully have the episode done by Monday night at the earliest. Thank you guys for waiting so patiently! Episode 5 will be a banger! The tea is hot in this one and ya’ll will be smiling and kicking your feet for about 80% of the episode lol. Here are a couple of sneak peeks that I can show without spoiling the episode! Enjoy!
