Hey guys quick update. The last episode of apf will be out in a few days so stay tuned for that.

Y’all remember that movie I was working on? 🥴 yeah I decided to scrap it and take elements from it to make a new series. I'm also going to incorporate elements of from atl with love because I really worked hard on that script and I hate that I had to end it. Don’t worry, I’m not canceling HL! I actually want to set this series in the same universe as HL. So it’s a spin-off in a way.

It’s going to revolve around the lives of the two characters above. Braxton, a famous socialite that comes from a famous family. She wants to become a successful actress without the help of her last name. And Orlando (same name from movie lol) is an undrafted basketball player that’s on a mission to prove his doubters wrong. Obviously there will be more characters but Braxton and Orlando are the MAIN characters lol.

I made some writing mistakes with HL that I won’t make with this series. I was trying to please people and make everyone happy. That’s how writers end up writing in circles and trying to convey something that would have already been conveyed if they had just stuck to their guns. That will not happen with this series lol. I won’t allow comments to alter my ideas or how I want the show to pan out.

I want this show to be a voice over series. So once I’m done writing the first season, I will most likely put up a casting call.

Super excited about this series. I’ve always wanted to do an entertainment/hollywood/family drama series which is why I started sneaking certain characters into HL like Adonis lol. But now, I can showcase all of that without having to tie it into another storyline. I can’t wait!
