ok y’all I’m really starting to feel like the universe is sending me signs that I need to stop machinima making because this is ridiculous.

So...I was adding sound effects to a scene of sisters of apf when I had to go pee. My gaming laptop was on my bed. I didn’t even realize I left it so close to the edge of the bed... but anyway, I’m peeing and I hear something fall. I’m like what the fuck was that??? So I finish using the restroom and go back to see my laptop on the ground, open and laying on it’s side. It was laying on the side that just happened to have my charger and usb plugged in. So I pick it up and the charger immediately falls out of the port. Then I see all of the sockets on that side of the computer completely pushed in. The charger hole the usb holes all just pushed far into the computer.

So I take off the back of my computer thinking it’ll be an easy fix(cut myself while doing so but that’s neither here nor there). It was NOT an easy fix. Although I did push everything back in place, my laptop is now not recognizing the charger. No matter how hard I push the shit in it’s not recognizing my charger and it won’t charge. And since I had the sims running, my battery was draining super fast. It was at around 40% when all of this happened so I tried to rush and finish the episode before it died but the shit is very much dead now.

Oh! More bad news! There will be ice on the roads tomorrow and Monday so I cannot take my laptop to the repair shop until Tuesday unless I want to end up in a 100 car pile up. It’s all bad. I’m annoyed. Sisters of Apf won’t be out tomorrow and neither will the sim dump. I don’t know why my dumb ass didn’t just get all the sims uploaded with the battery I had left but I was tunnel visioned on finishing the episode. Y’all already know I don’t like disappointing people or not delivering when I say I’m going to so yeah I’m pissed right now. I was working on a bhm project as well so now I might have to scrap that since this is setting me back a few days.

The good news is that I researched on google a bit and they said it’s a simple/common issue and a quick fix at professional places. I was trying to research how to repair it myself but I don’t want to end up fucking up my laptop even more. The fix really shouldn’t take that long. And hopefully everything can be back to normal in a couple of days. I’ll even pay extra to have it completed quicker. I’m just glad it’s not my damn hardrive this time.

I know this news will cause some new people to cancel their patreon memberships lol. I don’t blame you tbh. But this was a freak accident that was semi out of my control. And I promise y’all will get all of the content I promised to you this month. And I’ll do TWO sim dumps instead of one. If I’m unable to deliver...(big if) I will pause my patreon page for next month so you guys won’t be charged for march and issue a refund TO EVERYONE for February!

If you read this whole thing I love you! Thank you so much for your support 💕 I will keep you guys updated. In the meantime, I’m going to see if I can plug it in one more time :/ and start writing for other projects. Maybe I just need to invest in a desktop and leave these weak ass laptops alone.
