Underground Bar (NSFW) (Patreon)

Ok, not really a bar. If you follow some of the same photographers I follow on Instagram you will have seen this set and know it is the Tall Dark and Art studio.

The great thing about shooting at TDA is that the owner has set up quite a variety of set (usually at least 6 different sets) and he mixes them up all the time.

I recently did a duo shoot with Aim and Lucy there, and when we saw this dark set decorated with the bottle and glass, very reminiscent of the Gin Palace bar in Melbourne CBD, we decided we wanted to shoot something dark, moody and dramatic.

We worked together to choose the outfits, but once in the set it is often pointless trying to direct these two very experienced models - I gave a pointer here and there, but mostly they posed themselves.

Technical: Nikon D850 with NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E lens. Single Godox MS-300 studio flash in a 90cm octagonal soft box above and to the right of camera.
