This studio, that I use occasionally, has a floor with good possibilities for natural light. In particular, this nook at one end of the studio has a large window facing walls covered in random patterns for primary colours. Kiko, a redhead, has quite a good colour herself, and so the scene lends itself to these high saturation images.

Towards the end I put a chicken wire barrier across the end of the nook, and used focus to get some interesting effects. The set finished with Kiko doing handstands in the nook.

This is a shoot from the archives - taken about 5 years ago.

Technical: Nikon D700 with NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G VR II lens. Natural light from the big window on the left. As with all good artist's studios, the window has been allowed to get dirty so that there is soft (diffused) light coming through, not direct sunlight.
