From a studio session with Kiko that I shot a few years back, posing in front of a mirror.

Shooting with a mirror in a dark studio like this has its challenges. For a start, you essentially have to light two models. You also have to take into account what will be in the reflection - so there is a black backdrop behind the mirror so that around the edges will be black, but there is also a black backdrop set up to camera right. This makes sure that the Kiko in the mirror also has a black background.

Technical: Nikon D700 with the NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G VR II lens. Light from two Bowens Gemini 400 studio flashes, one in a large gridded softbox just behind Kiko on camera right - this is lighting the model in the mirror. The other is in a large gridded softbox behind the camera and to the left, to light the Kiko near the camera.
