From a few years ago, this was part 2 of our shoot that day. Part 1 was at Organ Pipes National Park, where I have shot a few times. This section was just after dark in a car park in Melbourne's CBD.

We found a graffiti covered wall on an upper level, and used it as a backdrop. It was a bit cold, but Sass is very brave.

It was always my intention to process these images in black and white, but I know some of you like colour photos, so I did half and half.

Technical: Nikon D700 with NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G VR II lens. Lit with 2 Nikon SB800 flashes mounted in Godox S1 brackets fitted with Godox 60cm softboxes, one each side of the camera, triggered with Pocket Wizard Plus II tranceivers. The flash on the left is on 1/2 power as main light, the one on the right on 1/64 to provide a bit of shadow fill. At the start of the shoot the left hand flash was next to me, but about half way through I moved it back towards the wall to give more outline lighting.
