In any model photography, and especially in nude photography, there has to be a good working relationship which is built on trust. So beware of people who are not what they claim to be.
Yesterday I received a text: "Hi, saw your ad looking for models and I am interested, Sarah"
The ad was for a shoot months ago when I was interstate, but as I was going to be back in the same place next year I started a conversation.
First thing I asked for was her portfolio - she doesn't have one, has not modelled before, but has some photos she can send me, and does so.
So here is where a bit of checking comes in to play. Google provides a reverse image search - you provide the photo, it tells you where it came from. Just go to Google Images, and click the little camera icon in the search field. Another very good reverse image search is TinEye (https://tineye.com/).
So I look up the images "Sarah" sent me - turns out they were lifted from Tumblr, are of a German model and are over 7 years old.
You'll be amazed to learn that I am not setting up a shoot with "Sarah".
