We have been talking for a while about doing a Suicide Girls shoot for submission, I think that will happen but the stars have not yet aligned for that.

A few weeks ago Jayde made a post that concluded, "Send me new people to go on adventures with." So I wrote and said that although we still didn't have everything for the SG shoot, what if we got together for a casual shoot as a bit of a confidence booster. She readily agreed and we set a date.

Jayde bought this green outfit for the shoot, I travelled to her place and set up a studio in her garage.

We got on very well, both contributing ideas and working towards a shared vision of the images we wanted. On reflection, I think that was something I needed - from time to time I have self doubt about my photographic work, and a shoot like this is the confidence booster I need.

One more piece of advice for photographers reading this. I have a principle of no surprises during a shoot. Later in the shoot she took of her top and posed with nothing under the jacket - leading to a pose with her breast exposed. Now while I know that Jayde has done plenty of nude shoots, we had not discussed nudity as part of this shoot - so at that stage I stopped and checked that this was OK with her. As you can see, it was!
