Update: out of town next week, other news (Patreon)

Hope you’ve all been well!

I’ll be out of town all of next week (April 2-8), and I may not draw very much during that time. But I am looking forward to this. I’ve been suffering from some nasty art block lately and I feel like one of the main reasons is because I’ve been in the same spot for almost a year. This should give me the opportunity to get out of my normal environment and clear my mind. And maybe sketch a little… although I’m also heading into the last month of my semester, so that still demands priority.

Speaking of which. A lot is happening in my life lately. I’ve been job searching for a while now and I’ve been going to a lot of interviews. That takes a lot of my spare time too. It’s surreal to look for a “legitimate job” like this, but currently I do not think I will ever stop drawing because of it.

I’m hoping that art motivation will gradually get better over the trip next week. I’d like to open comms sometime after I get back, assuming the rest of my plans go well. I’ve been working on a new comm sheet which I’ll present later in April. The last character poll went well, I’d like to do another in April too.

I’m also thinking about going to FWA, a con in Atlanta! Potentially my first con. But more on that later.
