No I am not giving up on EQA.

BUT it does feel with every passing day that I need more commissions to pay for my very well being, that EQA seems like less and less of a possibility with every passing day. Especially with the death of Tumblr, the perfect site for Webcomics like the one I yearned to create.

But Fleet, why is EQA so hard to create these days? Why haven't you made any progress? I donated for this!

Yes and I'm very sorry. I honestly don't really know what to say to the folks who donate just for EQA. If EQA does make a comeback, it'll be very different than what it was. Instead of a long storybased Comic filled with Cameos, it'll likely return as a short, 2-3 panel comic strip similar to Comics you'd read in your newspaper's Funnies section, likely with lewd & nsfw elements thrown in for good measure. Lots of skits, gags, and maybe a story on a much lesser scale.

As for WHY EQA has gotten more difficult to produce. I started EQA Back when I was only paying $250 for everything. Including Rent, Phone, Bills, etc, hence why my $250/350 Goals were labelled "Full Time Artist". This unfortunately isn't the case anymore.

Responsibility kicked in, I pay many times what I used to pay for Rent and etc. I've raised my commission prices to compensate, and has helped, however I just don't have the time to do my grand scale comic I've been dreaming of.

EQA Started as a Passion Project for when I had little else to do, and I wanted to tell this slice-of-life story with a hint of Kinks and Mysticism, but that has fallen through. Again, I'm not giving up on EQA Yet, however bringing it back will likely be much different than the previous entries in EQA.

I'll be honest, I don't know what 2019 holds for EQA. Hopefully something. If you've given up on EQA, that's fine, I occasionally cast doubts on myself with it too, and if you wish to unpledge, I completely understand. If you pledged specifically for EQA, message me, maybe we can think of something.

But as it stands, this Patreon is turning into your typical artist's Patreon where you go to support the person behind the monitor, rather than to get your OC in the Comic.

I'm really sorry, I'll keep you guys posted if I think of anything, and I love each of you that have stuck around through all of this.
