Feat. two OCs belonging to a friend of theirs (used with permission) having a very relaxing afternoon at home...

• 1- Rough sketch: The earliest sketch was done to figure out the right posing and proportions of the characters.
• 2- Bg sketch: I add the sketch for the background (done rather quickly) along with some other tweaks to the original character sketch.
• 3- Lineart: Using the sketch as a base I draw in the clean detailed lines for the next steps
• 4- Bg flat colors: Before continuing with the flat colors for the characters, I decide to draw the base colors for the background.
• 5- Char flat colors: Then I fill in the lines with flat colors for the characters.
• 6- Bg details: With all the foundations ready, I add several details to all the objects in the house.
• 7- Bg shading: Now I include all the proper shadows and extra color tones, taking the window as the source of light. The background is done!
• 8- Char shading: Going back to the characters, I now add the shadows and highlights to the characters. This time I added verry little of them because the room is meant to be really bright.
• 9- Lighting effects: Now I add some extra shadows between the characters and the background.
• 10- Extra effects: Last but not least I add some fluids and some motion on the feet to give the illusion of movement.
