[Reward | WIP] Cooper (Patreon)

August patreon reward for Teejster1

Feat. Cooper, a new pokemon OC I helped design! This dude is very flamboyant and very confident in his looks!

• 1- Sketch: The original sketch took a bit to get done since I was playing around with the proportions and the posing, I wanted this guy to be slim and tall to complement his confident nature! 
• 2- Lineart: With the sketch done, I move on to add all the clean detailed lines, adding some minimal tweaks here and there.
• 3- Flat colors: Now I fill all the lines with he corresponding colors needed. Since this is an OC I chose a slightly different color palette to make him seem different, aside from the yellow highlights on the hair (which were the only specifics I received when told about the character)
• 4- Gradients: With all the colors in, I simply add some darker and lighter gradients to all of them.
• 5- Shading: Next are the highlights and shadows, with the light source coming from the right.
• 6- Visual effects: Next up are the glow effects and color corrections!
• 7- Env. shadows: Finally I add some environmental shadows.
