[Reward | WIP] Storm's birthday (Patreon)

June's patreon reward for Teejster1!

Feat. their Gallade OC Storm celebrating his birthday alongside his Girlfriend (Drayx) and some friends!

• 1- Sketch: The earliest sketch spent the majority of the time figuring out how to draw Drayx and getting her pose done right, as well as Storm! I also added some random people in the back too
• 2- Lineart: After the sketch is done, I draw the clean lines for each character and also add some extra things on the table.
• 3- Flat colors: Now, I fill each section with the proper colors for the designs, I took the liberty to design the outfits of both characters here.
• 4- Gradients: Now with every color in, I add some darker and lighter gradients to each of them!
• 5- Shading: Next up are all the shadows and highlights
• 6- Background: I wanted to include some random silhouettes on the background that would resemble party goers celebrating the bday!
• 7- Lighting effects: WIth the simple background done, I go ahead and do the finishing touches to the main characters including glow and color correction. Something I thought would be cool was to add like some sort of reflection on the table too!
• 8- Bg integration: I finalize all the background colors
• 9- Final touches: Lastly, I blur the silhouettes on the back so not only they look more secondary and enhance the main characters but also to hide how simple they really are lol.
