[Reward | WIP] Leafa Stocking? (Patreon)

February's reward for patreon Ether!

Once again they were kind enough to let Leaf pick the reward for the month!

This time Is Leafa trying to get the stockings on! But trying to put clothes without having opposable thumbs is really hard. In fact it's so hard she's starting to lose her cool... A lot.

Steps:

• 1- Base sketch: The basic sketch was a little hard to get right, in fact I had to separate it into 3 pieces (head, body, and tail)
• 2- Clothing sketch: Now to draw the clothes in a different layer, this process makes it easier to get the clothes to look integrated into the character properly.
• 3-  Final sketch + extra: I delete the overlapping sections and get the final sketch, I also added Riley from the past reward for funsies. Seems he's a lil concerned to see this scenario play out like this.
• 4-  Lineart: With the sketch done, I move on to the clean detailed lines while adding the remaining details I had left.
• 5- Flat colors: With the lines set in, I fill all of the respective sections with the basic colors needed for the design, and take my time to get the stripped patterns on the underwear clothes!
• 6- Gradients: Now to finalize the design, I go ahead and in several other layers I add more gradients and strokes with the airbrush to get the colors look much better!
• 7- Extras: Now I color some of the lines, and I also add some extra things like the sweat and the red face ;). Yeah I wanna go for that wacky cartoony rage
• 8- Shading: Now I move on to the shadows and highlights, done with several colored layers in their respective settings.
• 9- Lighting effects: Later I add some glow effects, shadows and extra color corrections
• 10- Floor shadows: Finally I put the shadows on the ground which are being casted by the character.
