[WIP | Reward] Le Gardevoir Femme (Patreon)

Reward done for Patreon Leaf as winner of the Artrafle done on Twitter!Feat. a pretty gardevoir girl OC who can summon chains out of thin air!

These were all the steps taken to create this piece!:

• 1- Early sketch: The original sketch followed the references I was given for the pose, but after finishing it I felt it too stiff for my liking.
• 2- Early sketch 2: I tried adding the clothes on a different layer to see if that would make it look less stiff but there was no improvement. Not to mention it made it look a little more lewd than what I intended, so this idea was scrapped.
• 3- Sketch: I decided to redraw the whole pose (except the head, I loved it) to a much more confortable position, and a little more regal/elegant one.
• 4- Sketch 2: Next up was the clothes layer, which was a lot easier to do this time.
• 5- Final sketch: Then I fused both layer deleting the overlapping sections.
• 6- Flat colors: After the sketch was done, I proceeded to fill in all the lines manually with some flat colors. I used some of the colors given to me in references but I tweaked them a little to blend in a little nicer.
• 7- Chain: Then I moved on to the chain she's supposed to be holding, very simplistic design in nature except it was outlined by a clearer color, as if it was glowing.
• 8- Extra effects: Last but not least I add a couple lighting effects on the chain and possibly a litle sparkle on the eyes, because why not.
