Icon reward for Ilarproductions!

Feat. the epic duo from the NES classic Duck hunt! The doggo and the duckko!
These two are the main character Ilar likes to use on smash so It's only natural for them to request something similar!

These are the steps taken to create this icon:

• 1- Sketch: The first sketch was very straight forward, I had this cute idea to make it seem like the duck wings were the dog ears, as if they were kinda trying to fuse together for funsies. I had some issues with the head shape of the dog but in the end I got it right :)
• 2- Lineart: Then I added the clean lines, all while using a symetry rule to make sure it came out alright!
• 3- Flat colors: Then filled the lines with all proper colors
• 4- Shading: Then I moved on with the shadows and highlights (two different layers)
• 5- Signature effect: A little extra change was to make the signature a different color to fit the new bg I plan on adding
• 6- Background base: I color the base of the bg with a flat color to start
• 7- Bg Gradients: I add some gradients to the bg
• 8- Bg color correction: I change the color of the whole bg because the original teal color was not fitting in
• 9- Bg details: Then I add some rings to make the whole thing less bland
• 10-  Final bg: Finally, I erase the borders in order to make this a more circular transparent bg!
• 11- Bg Character integration: Then I put everything together and voila! done
