Here are all the steps done to create the lastest comm for Siba_Kusari!:

• 1- Sketch: The original sketch was mirrored sideways, so all characters were looking to the right instead of the left, there were many corrections done in this stage but I forgot to save copies of them.
• 2- Lineart: In here I add all the clean lines along all proper details.
• 3- Flat colors: Then extracted all the necessary colors from the provided refs and colored all sections accordingly
• 4- Gradients: Then added some gradients to the flats to provide a little extra depth to them
• 5- Shading: Now for the important part, the sole source of light was meant to be coming from the switch screen! this is a nice change from the usual lightning I do when it comes to shading. The layers were made in a set of 3 (1 highlights, 2 shadows) with proper blue coloring to match the setting.
• 6- Bg & details: There's no real background in this piece, but here I decided to do some environmental shadows as well as coloring the lineart!
• 7- Lightning effects: Now for some more extra lightning effects, adding more layers with some lights and shadows drawn with an airbrush! usually set to overlay and multiply respectively.
• 8- Final touches: To finish, I added a little extra color correction to lean more towars teal/blueish color!
