[High-res art | Comm | WIP] RoboLeaf Reference Sheet Step-process (Patreon)

 These are all the steps followed in the making of the reference sheet for RoboLeaf:

• 1st rough sketch: I make the sketch focusing how to draw the most important aspects of the ref sheet
• Final sketch: I reposition everything and optimize the use of space for each thing
• Lineart: I get the clean lines and get all proper details done.
• Flat colors:I add all the basic colors to each section of the body and also leave a palette with all the colors for each part + color the lineart 
• Shading:I add all cell shaded shadows and lightning and also add the patterns on some sections to enhance the design! (this part was really time consuming) I warped the patterns to suit the desired surface I intent to portray. 
• Gradients/highlights: I add extra effects to make the colors less bland
• Glow effects: I add glow effects to each of the parts that are supposed to glow, this gives that especial robot/technology vibe that I want to achieve.
• Backround and text: I add all the titles for each section and a simple gradient for the bg.
  For this one I got creative and went for kind of a Watch dogs UI style, since I thought it'd go well with the theme!
