Update - 8.3.24 (Patreon)

I skipped last weeks update since I had posted the Tifa render and didn't have much else to show at the time.

I've been making adjustments to the VR Judy animation. The keyboard moves a bit when she hits it, and her feet move since you can actually somewhat see them. Also the BD headset is coming out of the keyboard instead.

I've also made a VR watermark so I at least seem somewhat professional :D

It took 4 hours to render each eye in 2K for the Judy part, but it seems 4K would be better. Although I'm not going to commit to that till I know full well that the animation itself is satisfactory.

I'm yet to start doing the Bluemoon part. It's mostly the numbers counting up part that I'm worried about. I'll have to learn to do it all in Blender and turn the 2D post effect into 2D/3D inside the actual Blender scene.

What I may do is make a "Version #" post with what I have so far, and continue to update it as I make new changes. Sorry it's taking so long to make. Despite it being on my backlog of things to do, It's just not my priority right now. I'm chipping away at it slowly and giving myself time to come up with ideas that could improve it. There is a positive to it.

Another thing to go over is the latest render I'm trying to do is almost done, just needs more time in the oven.

I've been slowly switching to Blender 4.0 which features light and shadow linking. Basically, I can tell a light to only light up a specific object of my choosing, regardless of how close it is to any other objects.

This is amazing for Halo hologram renders which is why I went back to this particular project. There is currently 9 lights linked to "The Weapon", and lights not linked to her that is lighting up the room and Master Chief without compromising anything. I have near full control over the lights to give a good clean effect.

Lastely, I'm thinking of ideas for the new Prime set which will feature Ellie.
Last of Us was second place in the poll I did in Janurary.

I may do 3rd place after which is Aloy, but not sure yet. I have time to think about it.
