A few notes before reading.

1 - This isn't a novel yet, just an idea from which I want your feedback.

2 - Depending on the feedback, we could make this a future project.

3 - This novel is set on the world of Azeroth, aka World of Warcraft.

Information about the novel.

The novel is set before the First War. Meaning the Orcs have yet to invade Azeroth. Our MC is the son of Malygos, the Dragon Aspect of Magic, his egg was abandoned being deemed a bad one, aka a dead egg.

Powers and Tools, the MC has: He has a UI, sort of like a system, but not really. He can simply do anything the average player of WoW can, meaning, he can install addons, see his level and the level of others, and stuff like that. As long as it's something a player can do, he can too.

With that out of the way. Enjoy.

Chapter One: Eggcellent Catastrophe.

In the fleeting moments between life and death, there exists a profound sense of clarity, a profound sense of self. As I drifted in that space, I was acutely aware of my own demise. The end of my life had not been a gradual fade but a sudden snuffing out, like a candle extinguished by a swift breeze. I had died, that much was certain. Yet, here I was, conscious in a void, grappling with the reality of my nonexistence.

It was a peculiar sensation, being aware yet disembodied, a mere spectator to the end of one journey and the uncertain beginning of another. I pondered the life I had left behind, the memories, the good, the bad. Strangely, they seemed distant now, like echoes from a dream long forgotten.

Now, all I had left was to wait.

Heaven.

Hell.

I wasn’t sure where I would go.

Then again, perhaps this was it. Perhaps this was all there was to the afterlife. A place of eternal introspection and nothingness. It was almost poetic in a way.

—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I woke up in the dark, feeling dazed and hot like my head was on fire. I couldn’t think straight. I felt trapped and lonely. Despite this however, a cozy, comforting warmth feeling enveloped me, a warmth sensation similar to that of a winter night spent reading beneath the covers of my bed.

Where was I? What was happening? I had no idea, nor did I have any memory of what I was doing before. No... that wasn't entirely true. I remember dying and then... nothing.

Before my thoughts could continue, something split with a loud crack, and a single beam of light entered my once pitch-black world, piercing through the darkness, leaving me momentarily blinded and for the most part... mostly confused. Eventually however, my eyes adjusted to the light, and through this crack, I saw something. "What?"

Rocks. Lots and lots of... rocks.

I blinked.

I remembered the tales people would spread about; the life beyond death, tales of judgment, of God and the Devil, of realms of punishment and reward, yet for all the tales I had heard, none matched this... rocky view. It almost looked like I was in a cave. Unsure what to make of my situation, I tried to stand up, if anything to better understand what was happening, but as I did, I heard another cracking sound, this time from below.

At first, I thought I’d stepped on something, reasonably so. However, I soon realized I had actually stepped through something instead.

"Rawrrr?" What should have come out as a normal run of the mill, 'what in the fuck?' ended up as a rather bestial roar that caused me to jump in surprise, shattering whatever remained of my cozy prison.

I blinked again.

Did... d-did I just roared?

Slowly, my eyes hovered over the prison that I had escaped from, a large blue egg that looked to be the size of a dog.

Is... is that a fucking egg?!

Before I could question my rather strange situation a display that reminded me of an old-style RPG video game screen popped in front of me.

'What the fuck?!' I yelled, but it merely came out as another feral roar. Common tongue my ass.

Panicking I stumbled back, dropping on my ass, realizing as I did so that my limbs were covered in light blue scales with claws that appeared to be so sharp, I was dreading having to scratch anything. Heck, even my damn tongue was forked.

This couldn't be true.... it made no sense! How does dying in a truck related accident translate to being reborn as a Dra- oh God, I'm in an isekai, aren't I?

Taking a deep breath, I glanced back and just as I had thought, there they were... a pair of small light blue wings alongside a large, spiked tail that was easily half my length.

Well fuck me on a Tuesday night and take me out on a Wednesday evening, I guess I am a dragon now.

Hm.

The way I see it, I can either take this with grace, like a man. Or.... scream in panic for ten minutes. Needless to say, the choice is obvious.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh, hi there. Thank you for giving the minutes I needed to get the panic out of my system.

Good news. Dragons have surprisingly strong lungs, bad news, I have been reincarnated in the world of Azeroth, aka, WoW, aka, World of Warcraft, a universe where they have five beautiful seasons, winter, spring, summer, autumn, and war season... after all every other day someone wants to fuck this world in particular just for giggles.

I didn't know much about WoW as a whole. I played a lot until Cataclysm, but... I'm the kind of player that skips all dialogs and ignores the lore... so my knowledge about WoW was limited at best. Except for Wrath of the Lich King, I got obsessed with the lore on that one, but other than that... yeah, no.

But not everything was bad. Sure, I was now a lizard, and blinked sideways one eye at a time, I was still processing that, but beyond that... ok I have nothing.

When I died, I expected Heaven, as much of an asshole as I was, I was a good person, yet instead of eternal rest, the fucking truck crashed me into a new reality, and it didn't even have the decency of allowing me to keep my human form.

I wasn't even sure I was a man anymore. I lacked the distinctive equipment one would expect to see in someone wanting to identify as such, and yes, I literally tried to see if I had something down there, but nothing, not a sign of what I was down there. Thankfully, I didn't see an extra hole.

This however brought another concern. How the fuck am I supposed to take piss without the required medium for that?

I sighed.

Perhaps my draconic dingalong was hidden with magic, only to appear whenever it had to be used. It kind of made sense, I mean, I can't imagine a dragon flying with their dragon sized cock and balls flailing in the air being at all appealing.

Maybe I should focus less on the logistics of dragon genitalia.

[~Azeroth Helper - Lore Notification!~

Male? Female? Who cares? Leave that to the inferior species bound to their gender, that biological rule does not apply to you! For once a Dragon has come of age, they can choose their gender identity even if said gender is different to the one they were born with, meaning you can be whatever you want!]

Well, aren't these fire breathing lizards progressive. I guess that clears out one concern but leaves the other million.

I love it. I also hate the imagery it put into my head, just some dragon flying around, rocking out with its c*ck out. Ffs. That aside I would love to read a WoW novel, especially one that's pretty solidly in that world, there seems to be a real lack of good WoW/Warcraft novels, most of the ones I've read before get to about 50 or so chapters then get dropped/slow down to 1 chapter a year (>_> wouldn't know anyone like that around here <_<)

New Corn fic and it’s a dragon to boot? Count me in
