At this point, I believe mostly all of the stories have been told, words have been said and pasts reminisced. This was mine and Reed's second huge project together. Next to The Stance Series. However, The Loft series definitely has more volume to it. I am still very sad to see it come to an end here soon.

Earlier in the day, Reed and I went out to run some errands. One of those errands was heading into the Flower District in Downtown Los Angeles to get ahold of these beautiful blue flowers. The Flower District is just the same as the Fashion District, Jewelry District and Art District. There are dozens of shops in each district all doing the same exact thing, but some how all of them thrive, stay open and make money.

Since all of the flower shops do the same thing, have the same product and sell at the same price, Reed and I just picked the closest one to our parking spot and started browsing. This was Reed's idea for the shoot so I just kept quiet, followed her through the shop and waited until she found the flowers she loved. What a flower and color to pick. With virtually every thing else in the photo either being black, white or grey, the flowers and tights simply pop with a great contrast against her red lipstick.

As said before, the man who owns this space had quite and eclectic range of knick knacks and pieces. Anywhere from a buck's head to vintage cameras and a enormous tree truck coffee table. Basically all of the things I would want in a space of my own. Along with the amazing decor was this random locker section that looks like it was stripped right out of an abandoned school. I just imagine him and his friends trespassing somewhere, finding the locker section and sneakily trying to carry this massive hunk of metal out to their truck and scurrying off.

This is a relatively small set, but I like it small. Reed and I quickly got the 'money' shots that we were looking for so there was no need to drag it on and waste daylight. I think a few of them are print worthy, so keep an eye out on Reed's Etsy page for those!
