Yesterday was one of those really good days.

What started of with a slow awakening to two dogs next to me in bed quickly turned into my morning routine, coffee, breakfast and Jessica's arrival. We planned to spend the day together doing what we love. Chatting, shooting and eating. We started with a quick catch up; by quick I actually mean about an hour and a half. It has been just shy of a year since we last saw one another so we had much to talk about. Even though we talk on almost the daily, there is just something so vastly different about in person.

After a catch up and coffee, we broke out the cameras and warmed up some in my studio before we shipped off to lunch. I have been finding myself wanting capture more organic, in the moment images which is what we had planned for the day. Ivanhoe was the destination. I know I have spoken to you about this restaurant before, it is where I bring all of my friends if they have never eaten there. Since she had not, there was no conversation needed about where to eat. However, while eating, all of the conversation rolled right off of our tongues.

Next stop, Venice. Specifically Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. An Ohio based ice cream company that I have not indulged in in years. In fact, the last time I did was back in 2016 when Corwin and Vaunt were visiting. A much overdue venture to the sweets of Ohio. Ice cream in hand, we walked around looking for photogenic areas to snap some quick images and we came across this random yellow truck. It just so happened to be parked in a perfect spot to shoot with it and Jessica just so happened to have a lingerie set with her that matched the color perfectly. Enjoy!

These were shot on Polaroid Circle Frame Edition 600 Type Color film with a Polaroid SLR680 and Polaroid SX-70 Type Color film with a Polaroid SX-70 Sonar OneStep.
